Irrigation technician jobs in Southern California
Check, repair and install irrigation systems so landscapes get the right amount of water.
Pay: $20–$24 per hour. Pay depends on the contractor and your experience.
A typical day
- Check zones and find leaks
- Replace valves, heads and pipe
- Program and check controllers
- Adjust watering for the season
- Log repairs for your supervisor
What contractors look for
- At least 2 years of irrigation experience: valves, heads and pipe
- Able to program controllers (Hunter, Rain Bird or others)
- Reading basic irrigation plans is a plus
- Driver license is a plus
