Landscape construction crew jobs
Build new landscapes: plants, stone, turf, irrigation and other projects.
Pay: $18–$22 per hour. Pay depends on the contractor and your experience.
A typical day
- Prepare and grade soil
- Plant trees, shrubs and flowers
- Install turf, stone and mulch
- Help with new irrigation and drainage
- Clean up after each project
What contractors look for
- Able to do heavy physical work
- At least 1 year of landscape construction experience
- Comfortable with basic tools
- Works well on a team
