Empleo Jardinero is operated by Empleo Jardinero. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this site, how we use it and who we share it with.
What information we collect
When you submit the application form, we collect:
- The jobs you are interested in
- Your city or ZIP code
- Your name
- Your phone or WhatsApp number
- How you prefer to be contacted
- Your experience: years in landscaping, where you worked most recently, whether you have a driver license, your English level, whether you finished high school and when you can start
- Any notes you add
- Your confirmation that you are 18 or older
- Your consent to share your information with contractors
We also store the date of your application, the page you sent it from and your device’s IP address, which helps us block spam. We do not ask for your immigration status, Social Security number or documents.
How we use your information
- To connect you with landscaping contractors looking for workers in your area
- To contact you about your application
- To improve the site and protect the form from spam
Who we share it with
With your consent, we share your information with landscaping contractors whose jobs match what you are looking for. Those contractors may contact you by phone, text message or WhatsApp. Once a contractor receives your information, their use of it is also governed by their own practices.
We also use providers that help us run the site, such as our hosting and security provider (Kinsta, which uses the Cloudflare network) and our email provider. They only use your information to provide that service to us.
We do not sell your information.
Cookies
The site uses basic cookies to work, for example to remember the language you chose. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep your information
We keep your application for 12 months or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we have about you, to correct it or to delete it. You can also withdraw your consent so we stop sharing it with contractors. If you live in California, state law may give you additional rights over your personal information.

Minors
This site is for people 18 years old or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with the updated date.
